Dan Smith and Kyle Hoskins have created a new style of referral contest: one where winners are determined not only by the number of new members they refer, but also by the quality that their referrals add to the exchange! We'll explain the scoring in a bit, but first, the prizes!

Now for the details. Scoring is based not only on the number of new referrals, but on their activity. You earn points for each new member you refer, and extra points for active members -- so if you can refer members through your website or mailing list and encourage them to be active, you will be even more successful!
Each new activated referral is worth points on the following scale:

| 100 or more sites surfed | 3 point | |
| 500 or more sites surfed | 5 point | |
| 1000 or more sites surfed | 10 points | |
| Signs up for Pro membership | +3 points | |
| Signs up for Ultimate membership | +10 points | |
| Every $2 your referral spends on credits | +1 point |
The contest will run from April 10 through the end of May. Rankings will be updated twice a week, at midnight every Tuesday and Friday, but will not be updated in real time. The rankings will be updated a final time three days before the end of the contest and will remain hidden until the end of the contest to keep the final days of the competition exciting. Members will be notified of the winners immediately after the end of the contest. The 6 cash prize winners will be paid via PayPal, and all 30 ratio bonus winners will be given two-month bonuses for all of June and July!
Finally, some minor rules reminders: you must refer new members yourself, via either your website, your mailing lists, traffic exchanges, or other websites where traffic exchanges are an appropriate topic. You may NOT use spam or paid-to-signup services to refer new members for this contest! There are only 30 winners and you can bet we'll be checking all of them for inappropriate referral tactics, so don't put your own account in jeopardy!
