Frequently Asked Questions

What is a traffic exchange?
A traffic exchange is an advertising network that allows users the opportunity to view sites and earn credits to be used to advertise their own site.

What makes MagnifyTraffic different?
MagnifyTraffic is based around the idea improving your surf ratio (the amount of credits you earn per page viewed) by the actions you take within the site. You can magnify your surf ratio in three ways: referring, surfing, and winning contests.

How do bonuses affect the credits I receive?
You will notice that bonuses are given in percentages. These percentages are then added to your surf ratio, and you will receive more credits per page viewed. To calculate the new surf ratio, use the equation below:
New Ratio = (Base Ratio) + (Base Ratio) X (Total Bonuses) / 100

How can I earn bonuses?
Bonuses can be earned in many ways. For one thing, 1-10% bonuses can be found randomly while surfing. These bonuses only last for the day that you find them. Secondly, you can set a surf goal for yourself at the beginning of every surf session. If you achieve this goal, you will receive up to a 75% bonus the next day based on the difficulty of the goal you set. New days begin at midnight, US Eastern Time. Also, for each referral that surfs 10 sites, you will receive a 5% bonus (MAX: 200%) while they remain active (surf in the last 60 days). Furthermore, large, month long bonuses can be earned by being in the top ten in the referral contest.

I surfed, but I don't see any credits in my account. Where are they?
Check whether you have auto-assign on. If you do, your credits are being assigned directly to your sites rather than placed in your account. Since traffic delivery here is fast, a large number of your credits may have already been paid out from your sites by the time you look. (If you're concerned that you may not be receiving all of your hits, we recommend that you use an ad tracker, such as HitsConnect, which will monitor the number of hits to your URLs from MagnifyTraffic.)
